Alex and I have known each other most of our lives...we met at church during middle school. We didn't exactly like each other then...actually we more like hated each other. But somehow as the years went on that hate turned into love and we began dating August 17, 2003.
Alex proposed on October 24, 2006 during a private candle lit dinner at Sedgefield Country Club. He was a Chef there at the time so he pulled a few strings and set up an amazing night.
We found out we were pregnant in March 2012, a baby girl due in December!
We bought our first home in June 2012. We love it! It's so quite and we love having a place that is truly ours!
Currently Alex is an Executive Chef in Durham while I am blessed because of his hard work to be a full time mommy to our baby girl.

We love DIY...therefore we love Pinterest! We have created quite a bit for our home...especially our daughter's nursery. We are excited for the projects that we are about to embark on as well.
